Show me your white VE SS ute with wheels!!

hey there,
Starting to look at some different wheels for my white VE SSV Ute (series 1).
Im thinking ill go gold Simmons FR20s..... Anyone have these on a white ss ute?

any other wheels that look good on a white ss ute? looking forward to ideas!

In my opinion black wheels look ordinary on white. With my VF2 also white ute, will not be fitting black rims to it. Will most likely go back to VE style staggered fit 20" rim.

Are you looking to upgrade the brakes at all? If you go a staggered fit it's very hard to find rears that clear big brakes. The FR20-1's in staggered don't (if you go 8.5" front and rear it's fine though), plenty of other aftermarkets don't. Your options are very limited if you want to go staggered and brake upgrade. I ended up coming down to choosing between some cheapies and genuine HSV - I ended up with a set of Versus 20's and spent more on the rubber (RE003's rock).

didn't think about the brake clearance issue... that said, I cant see myself ever having to upgrade the brakes.
I'm not going to do any more work to it and it isn't exactly a rocket ship at the moment

That's the reason I chose the Harrop brakes on my VF2 as when wheel upgrade happens these will fit under just about any 18" rim +. know well they are exxy for their size but a huge difference over the stock offering on an SSV.
