Fire extinguisher bracket to suit VY

Hi guys,

Does anyone on here know where I can find a bracket that allows a fire extinguisher to mount to the passenger side transmission tunnel (using existing mounting holes) or to the front passenger seat?

I found one for a VE, however I don't think it can be used on my VY

Hey guys, here's some pics of the fire extinguisher installed in my car (VY) with Simon's bracket. Note: this bracket can be installed at the front or rear of the seat rails on either of the front seats. Due to my circumstances, this was the best fit for me.





And just to let you know... Simon W was so incredibly easy to deal with...a true gentleman in fact. There was even a situation where my bracket seemed lost in the mail, and when Simon found out, without hesitation he sent another bracket out to me.

Therefore now I'm in the possession of two brackets, so if you're seriously thinking about one of these brackets and would like reasonably quick delivery (as I'm in NSW as opposed to the USA) please let Simon know by PM (as one of the brackets is still technically his) to arrange payment.

I would be interested in the bracket, I would make the assumption that this would fit a Monaro Coupe in the same way it does a Sedan?

Yep it'll definitely fit. If it's got electric seats (which I'm sure it would), it would give you even more mounting options too...as I had to contend with the rather low seat adjuster bar in the way...hence the reason why it was mounted behind the front passenger seat.
