Hey Sled, is the rubber in correct position, weep holes all clear? Never had this issue with our sportswagon!
The wagooon has been relegated to occasional week end play now I have found something more practical for work. The other day I took it out after four weeks or so and my daughter got out of the rear door and water started gushing out of the seal at the bottom. It seems water has been getting into the door cavity and stopped from escaping by the seal when the door is closed. But when the door is opened and no pressure on the rubber...hello Niagra. I estimate there were literally litres of water caught in the door. It took ages of shaking the door back and forth to get rid of all the water. Anyone else struck this problem?

Perhaps one or more of the weep holes are filled with aftermarket rust prevention?
I will check all the above. Co incidentally, this is the same door I had the window replaced after the neighbour flicked a rock from the lawnmower. I got a mobile repair mob around and thought it was fixed. Weeks later I took it to a tint guy to get the tint done and he said he had never seen a worse job. The glass was scratched, brackets broken off and bodgied back. Window does not wind up from back seat, only centre console. Surprise surprise mobile company not in existence any more. Im betting these brainiacs stuffed it some way.
That might not be so much of a coincidence.![]()
Only time I have seen this is on my old VT2 SS when the right rear door was replaced after being side swiped. The door was full of all sorts of crap from the panel beaters. A good internal clean out solved the issue.
Sheesh,,and the missus reckons I normally exaggerate??
