    Twin Turbo VX - 0-302kph

Thought there might be a few people who might get a kick out of these video's.

We had the latest Racewars event in W.A on the weekend in Albany. I took my drag car but fitted in a 2.73 ratio diff in place of the usual 3.27 i run for the 1/4 mile and switched over to some 275/60/15 drag radials.

I did 2 x 1000m runs on sunday with the 2nd run getting me my 300kph pass and so put it onto the trailer. I'd already done multiple runs in the morning & saturday for 800m roll on's.

I picked up 3rd fastest overall, 1st for v8's & 1st for rwd. Was a really outstanding field this year, should be even harder next year.

    Run 1:298.76 km/h 19.773s
    Run 2:302.58 km/h 19.950s

It's a Garmin Virb X. Picked it up for $349 a couple of days before the event. I was going to get one regardless but they had a price drop that day. so was a nice little bonus. I specifically got it due to the in-built GPS.

It can tap into a bunch of other garmin & bluetooth devices for like heart rate/obdii data etc, but i use another app to add in the engine rpm/vehicle speed.

That's awesome, what are you doing with the V2 Tre? Are you monitoring your AFR's?

everything, ECT, dual afr. oil pressure, boost etc. I have another video of the 302 run with the boost gauge on it. I have a 3 bar map sensor in the manifold. but it seems the logger get's pegged out over 22.4psi.

I just looked on jb's website and the bastards have dropped it again! might need to pick another one up for dad's drag car.

It's a great camera! I have a dashcam running all the time in my car but under acceleration the GPS gets left waaaay behind. Can you hook it up to the car via 12v or USB for power?

its an action camera, but you need to use the usb cable to recharge it.

pos went flat first thing saturday morning, it doesnt seem to have a decent way of showing it's charging when it's plugged in

The reviews say typical battery life is about half the claimed 2 hours but it's a shit if you can't tell definitively if it's charging.
