VE/VF imo will always be limited for quick 60's imo due to the ESP system still lurking in the background.

Turning off traction control does not remove it's capacity to limit throttle opening on hard launches on the auto's. Have logged a few cars on slicks where the throttle position has a drop off from 100% opening. Nothing to do with trans torque limiting, comes back to the steering angle sensor and yaw/g sensor.
It's happened before, It will all happen again.

That actually makes sense. I log every run with my hp tuners scanner and noticed the flash rpm from launch does not instantly go to 4500rpm like previous models.
On rolling starts it does, for example I could be doing 60km/h in 4th and it will flash to 4500rpm. Must be a way to resolve this in the tune.

Did you ever get this resolved?

Nah just left it, I'm doing 1.6 60fts so I'm happy.

Few weeks ago went 11.3@124mph with heads and cam, all N/A.
Very happy in a full weight VE SSV with just a change of tyres as driven from home.

124mph is fairly moving for a full weight H/C VE, mind sharing the specs?

Re: VE N/A Auto 1/4 Times

Old thread I know but that car moves! Well done

My PB to date is 11.41@119mph (has run 121 before)
It ran 1.600 in the 60ft (has gone 1.58 before)

    Car weighs 4100lb-ish without me

L77, DOD delete, 236/246 cam, Scoggin Dickey CNC heads, FAST 102 with NW T/B

    6L90 conversion, 4200 Allfast Converter and 3.45s

    Tyre was a 245/40 R18 Hoosier radial

Re: VE N/A Auto 1/4 Times

Long time between updates on this thread by the looks.

Took my GXP ute down for its first run yesterday, 12.7 at 111, only mods are an OTR, 3.45 gears, tune and drag radials.
Think it has a fair bit more in it with some more tuning and cooler weather.
