Yeah Rod reckon Brad is spot on, looking like a sensor fault mate.
Hoping to get some advice here. Bit of background first though. Yesterday I had a leaking Oil level switch replaced in the VE (was actually leaking out through the switch, not
around the seal). I got about half a km from Ultra tune after the install and car starts idling rough and carrying on. Got to a servo and turned it off, tried to read fault code
with Torque which showed no codes. After about 2 minutes I start up and nurse it the rest of the way home. Turn it off, restart about 10 minutes later and all lights are off and car
is running normal again. Drove to work this morning and it ran like a swiss watch. Sits all day at work then drives home, once again running like a peach. Park in driveway for
30 minutes, start it up and bang, chime in the dash and all lights are on againBut this time car runs normal for entire drive into the city (about 10 k's). Took it to ultra tune
and no codes to be found, but did say could not communicate with TC module or something like that. Anyway sorry for the long rant, but was hoping for some advice/shared
experience. UT also checked the alternator and that was charging fine. Battery however is at 45 percent according to tre cars trip computer. Spoke with Brad from Enhanced
briefly as well and he said maybe ABS wheel sensor.

Check the voltage
Had very similar issues in my E series Senator - initially intermittent, then every start - turned out to be a faulty rear ABS harness.
Ok. Came up today on restart after a short drive. Drove it straight to Brad and he put his scanner on it. Showed up as unable to communicate with CAN BUS. He suspects that
there is a possibility that the Blue tooth OBD2 dongle that I had plugged in may be messing with shit. Only other thing he did prior to getting comms restored with the CAN BUS was
pull the plug off the ABS Module and reseated it. Hasn't come back yet fingers crossed.
Thanks to all who have replied so far, much appreciated.
If it goes below 10v I'd be looking into that. CANBUS can be very voltage sensitive

Also have been told previously, these dongles can consume battery if left in car 24/7.
As suggested earlier in this thread, replacing the rear ABS harness has finally rectified this issue. Can
now drive the car without having to turn TC off every time![]()
Great to hear you eventually got it fixed Rod.
Which mechanic sorted it for you?
