    Not flash at all.
I wonder what the limiting factors are?
My V6 Grand Cherokee will tow 2.5tonne with the same v6.
    Exactly,
the latest model V8 SRT Core is only rated at 450kg, (The engine specs are fantastic)
    it seems such a pity,
you could not even load up a 6 x 4 trailer.

Such a shame to see a large car with some power with such a low towing capacity.

The SRT Trackhawk, now Confirmed for Australia, will do the job nicely... But it's going to be on the wrong side of $100K+...

    Link

    Towing capacity... Four-wheel drive, 6.2-liter Supercharged, 3.70 axle ratio, 7200 LBS (3266kg)

    Power.......707 hp (527 kW) @ 6,000 rpm...... (0 to 100km/h in 3.6 seconds...)

    Torque......645 lb.-ft. (875 Nm) torque at 4,800 rpm

    Very Juicy Indeed!!!......

    That's no use, it is a 4WD
We know you can tow heavy loads with just about any 4WD.

We were talking about passenger cars.

I liked the 300C when it first arrived at a car show, but now :
Every time I see a 300C now in black for some reason it just looks like an Italian Funeral directors car.
Plus the fact it is made by FCA , so quality sucks and warranty in Australia you might as well smoke the paper it's written on.
Shame, could have been a winner and sold in large numbers.

$90K converted Camaro.. thats a no from me. VF GTS would be hands down a better choice.

I'll wait till GM are doing right hook out of the box. Hopefully the prices are more reasonable.

    I can't like a 300c.. i just think they are ugly.

No use?...... It'll out accelerate the HSV W1 LS9 to 100km/h easily, and it's faster down the Quarter mile aswell...

4WD / AWD / SUV whatever you want to call it...

    It's a Beast IMO...

A mate of mine has a standard Jeep GC SRT 6.4L 344kw, and even thou it weights around 2.3 tonne, from a standing start take off @ WOT, it pushes you back into the seat like no tomorrow!!!......

I was so impressed with the stellar performance of the thing, I'm still thinking of buying one myself...

    Pity there are corners....

Yes I have been in an SRT and was left very underwhelmed. Overrated POS in my opinion.

    Yeah, it's a beast
I can see it has power, thanks Shane

but I think you have missed my point mate,
we are not just talking about power & towing capacity.

I was talking about the fact there are a few people like me who don't want to drive around every day in a 4WD hot rodded station wagon.

I would much rather drive a large quiet luxury sedan, with adequate power that has the ability to tow a large trailer or boat when I need to

like the Holden Caprice & the old Ford Fairlanes.

Teaser picture from HSV's FB page headed with the caption "The 6.2L V8 propelled Camaro is on the horizon."
