Yeah it will fit. You'll just need a 3 Bolt cam sprocket if you don't have one
Good morning,
Just doing a spring clean in my garage and happened to find a Comp Cam 54-426-11, 222/224, 112 lsa 0.568 lift, and some Comp 7.425 rods that I was going to put in my LS1 VZ Monaro a few years ago. Now that my VE2 HSV Maloo has busted a valve spring, bent a pushrod and radiator decided to go on me, I am very close to doing what I need to do for a cam upgrade. Will this cam and rods fit my LS3? I looked at the LS9 cam as it has been done in the usa, but I dont think it will move the ute down low as it seems to be more for a forced induction package rather than n/a. This currently has a tune, is a daily driver and is a manual, so a bit more torque down low, manners and driveability are the aim. Close to 300rwkw for power would be nice.

Smallish stick is ok for a 6L, 6.2L requires a larger stick for the sake of a $500-$600, plus all the work required to swap out + tune you could have a great one with a more efficient tune & easily gain your 300+rwkw.
Hi,
Just would like to confirm that macca_779 is 100% correct.
The 3 hole sprockets are pretty inexpensive.
Check some out on US eBay.
Thanks guys. I will pay for a bigger cam. Given the labour involved, may as well do it right.
