interesting review - so many errors in first four minutes:
- Chev didn't cancel the car - Holden stopped manufacturing full stop
- The engine cover is the same as sold in Australia - it does not have a Holden logo here!
- As standard, there are no Holden logos on the sill panels
- Only some of the Commodores had an embroided model name on the dash. I might be wrong, but it might have only been the Redline

Was great to see the VF represent with Doug. He did a video last year (or 2016) with a LHD-converted VE ute but this time it was the full factory version. Now the rest of the world knows a little more about what they are missing out on now that Commodore is gone.

A shame for such a unique car on the US market. Like the Pontiac G8 they will probably hold up in value in the years ahead.

GM weren't going to heavily market the VF because it would hurt their corporate average fuel economy (CAFE). More realistically the market for large sedans has almost collapsed in the US, even mid size sedans apart from the Camry and Accord have been smashed. The SUV conquers all. The Chrysler 300 is built on a geriatric M-B E class platform with seemingly little chance of a major new model anytime soon, Chevrolet look set to scrap the Impala, Ford have scrapped the redesign of the Fusion.
