There's a big gap to the Suzuki but Troy Bayliss is competitive.
I usually hate sporting comebacks but I really want to see him do well. Reading between the lines at the time I don't think he really wanted to pull the plug when he did.

Bayliss had the lead in the dieing stages of the 2nd half of restarted race 1 due to rain, but was piped by Troy Herfoss, and Waters came in 3rd, after leading the first half of the race before the red flag for rain.
Here you can see Troy Hewfoss looking at Bayliss out the corner of his eyes......
Who said Elbow Scraping was required... not for Bayliss...
