Huge headlines in today's paper saying Holden is now affected by the Takata airbag recall. Over the top sensationalism or just a few obscure models imported from overseas involved? Suburban?

My mate's Ferrari California is affected and Ferrari haven't even bothered to inform him yet.

One of my mates got a recall from Subie for his REX. Was for passenger side airbag only though.

Yeah a lady I know has a Honda that went through same airbag recall last October as well.

Ive had a nissan and a mitsubishi with this issue. Both occasions i contacted the manufacturer to get it fixed. Nissan took 6 months to book it in and fix. After 12 months with the mitsubishi i sold the car and it still wasnt done despite numerous follow ups.
Pretty pathetic given how dangerous it is
