I admit I am a fan of Tesla and Tesla cars BUT I REFUSE TO BUY ONE!
When you buy their products do YOU really own them?

Tesla is like Samsung mobiles Australia or LG or Apple .... after warranty you are REFUSED to purchase certain spare parts (No spare parts for non authorised valid owners) or allow third parties to work on them.

In the USA many expensive Teslas are Written off from minor damage as Tesla takes an easy 3 months to repair them @ $175 USD per hour + Way more parts than need to be replaced than initially damaged.
Hence they are worthless out of warranty and picking up a used one even if you are a competent Electrician / Mechanic that once given parts can fix in a weekend
what takes Tesla 2-3 Months you will be in trouble - even if you bring it in for warranty work say on airbag recall - they will deny you.
Till you cough up a re certification fee.
Take your money now and take lots latter.... :-(

Tesla like the mobile phone manufactures like to promote their "green" credentials but they are the biggest environmental vandals to date......

Where is right to third party repair and availability of spare parts ?
In Australia our ACCC is like a wet leaf against a hurricane from these bastard corporations.

So next time your on an a aeroplane - will you be happy that fellow travellers had their mobile phones repaired at shopping centres with fake batteries from china because
The phone manufactures won't allow to sell genuine spare parts or allow third parties to service them.
But the average person can't wait 2 days while there phone is sent interstate for official $$$ slow repair.
Tesla is the equivalent once the warranty expires your are SCREWED!
Second hand buyers be aware - model S motors fail and the official repair bills on that cheap used Tesla will be shocking to many.

Yes it was a very bad look when Elon got his panties in a knot when the cave diving experts did't want to use his mini submarine. I think he was butt hurt instead of taking the high road and just walking away when his free equipment wasn't needed.
It shows something about a driven bussiness man.
After I watched Rick rebuild damaged Teslas and others I realised he doesn't give a stuff about the environment as Tesla will not sell repair parts or support third party repairer.
Bit like Subways selling you a healthy meal with high % fake chicken meat and a coke.... right Dr. Associated are for your health.. . LOL!
Elon is the equivalent.
