I think the SAAS catch can looks quite reasonable for the price you can get them on ebay.

I had the elite on mine prior to blower, now have a bigger custom one. It was exceptional quality and well worth the coin imo.

Ive had a look at the Mighty Mouse and SAAS catch cans as well as the ASE, I wouldn't choose a vented catch can, which seems the only option with the Mighty Mouse and ASE. The SAAS does look like good value but I think I will just pay the extra for the Elite even though I need to import it directly it seems. Just need to work out the best configuration.

I have an Elite on my ute, bought it direct from Elite in the USA, they were good to deal with, the product is excellent quality.

Thanks for the replies guys, Elite Catch Can it is. I will choose the new E2 version with the check valve and spare O rings. I don't think I need the clean side separator or extra hosing though. Are you guys running the single or dual exit port versions?

Does anyone know if there is a difference with the 04 GTO kit to our 04 Monaro's (my car)? Or should I choose 04+ commodore?

I don't know how new the "new E2" actually is. I've still got one in a box from years ago that I never fitted after hearing of people having issues with them on boosted motors.

Took some reading to confirm but you're right, looks like the E2 came out at least 5 years ago. So not NEW

Ive looked at a few other installs and it appears that for my car I shouldn't actually need any optional extras.

    - The Dual port is probably over kill for my car.

    - The check valve is apparently only needed for Forced Induction.

    - I am mounting it in the intended location so no need for the extra hose length.

    - I like the factory look so I'm not looking at braided hose or stainless hose.

The Clean Side Separator is probably the only option to consider and is apparently worth it if you run a MAF (so probably no one else on here with an LS1) but real mixed thoughts on this in general.
