I got the fuse block out. It was held by 4 tabs. Sort of tricky to get it out. Released one tab at a time without letting the others click back in.
Trying to work out the drivers side still.
I'm having to remove the entire instrument assembly from our VE.
AC Evap leaking. Have to replace.
The whole lot comes out except the steering column.
To remove the frame/instrument assembly, I have to unplug the harness in drivers foot well.
I got all the plugs except the big one with a lever that should lift it out.
• Is it just the two tangs/tabs that hold that in place from moving?
• Is there something on top of the plug?
I have to remove the fuse panel in the foot well on the passenger side and disconnect the harness there.
The fuse panel comes out with the assembly.
I can't find any thing, anywhere around this procedure.
Nothing in the factory manual, just says remove panel. Not how to remove panel.
Nothing in after market manuals.
The harnesses on the assembly stay with it.

I've searched the net. Everywhere.
Nothing.
I tried to see what was available through Pontiac too.
I got the harness off. I got the drivers side off too. The lever needed to be firmly pressed down a little further.
This job is like a puzzle.
Now I'm trying to figure out how the plug on the accelerator comes off.
I have the accelerator assembly loose, but with the harness still attached.
Sorry, I haven't done one on a VE.
Surely someone else has done one & can help out?![]()
Those fly by wire pedal assemblies have a tabbed wiring plug, look for the tab & depress it.Now I'm trying to figure out how the plug on the accelerator comes off.
