Another oil question!

Hi all, sorry for the question but after reading post after post im still not coming up with an answer.
My ve ss 175k has been serviced by mechanic every 10k but im now looking to start doing the basics myself.

Label on car says that motul 300v 5w-30 is being used but i cant find this anywhere. Id like to keep using a quality 5w-30 and was looking for brand recommendations...
Would castrol edge be ok?? It's currently very cheap at supercheap auto

Car has had otr, tune and exhaust done and driven as a daily.

Any advice would be appreciated!!

edge 5w30 is good stuff even 5w40 is commonly used, see your in Canberra and cold stay with the 5w30 edge

castrol oils cause my LS engines to rattle, tried them once on several engines
never again...
