Changes to Club Permit Scheme In Vic on The Cards

    In email from Shannons today.

The Victorian Government is currently reviewing the Club permit scheme. We regard the current permit scheme as one of real value to motoring enthusiasts.

There are a number of proposed changes that the Government is seeking feedback on, from industry, motoring clubs and individual enthusiasts.
Of particular note is the proposed change in eligibility from the current 25 years to 30 years.

Please use the link below to have your say during the consultation process. The cut off date for feedback is July 8th. You may also wish to forward this information to your fellow enthusiast friends so that they can have their say too.

    Done.

Very angry as the owner of an almost 21 year old VX.

Of course the Vic government won't listen though, they are always right.

Now I feel old again. VT's were just about to be released when I left Holden, and now the cars I worked on are eligible for club rego, hahaha

It's 30 years here in South Australia.

Scheme works well, costs me under $90 a year to register my Stingray & I drive it very often.
