A mate of an old boss of mine bought a Testarossa brand new in around 1990 & I drove it a couple of times.

It had no air conditioner & no radio, you had to keep the revs right up on it all the time, it was very noisy & it rode like a block trolley.

It certainly was not the fastest thing I have ever driven & I don't think it was the best looking Ferrari ever made by a long shot.

.. my ex-son in law (big head, small dick type of person) bought a 2nd hand Faz F360.. of course the soft top Spider convertible variety

not a red one but black and being the DHEAD he is .. a manual version.

The first I know of this (he was still married to my kid at the time) is a call one night about dinner time.. please come help move my new car
WHY? FWIT only has an auto licence

and of course... the F360 is a manual!

Please can I put it in the garage... yeah ! But not before a burn around the block. It DOES make a lovely noise.. but feck, is it hard to drive!
Everyone recalls how the LC/LJ Torrie stg column was offset... but the F360? the pedals are inset towards the middle of the car by about 150mm
Go to punch the accelerator? and you hit wheel arch! Go to push the clutch in and you might get the brake pedal... Éffin' awful.

And about 10 mins of that... my back is complaining because I am sitting all twisted. (hate to be 6'4"!)

End of story... FWIT ex S-I-L has affair (he was in the middle of the mid-life crisis shit) so daughter locks F360 in the garage.
Court case goes for nearly 4 years and she finally gets her $ settlement and hands over garage keys.

F360 wouldn't start (of course).. had 4 flat tyres, had fuel that oozed out like jelly and was last seen being dragged up onto a flat top

'failed to comply with court orders on discovery' * ... plus 'exhibited a high level of unconscionable conduct to counsel and the court'

* when he did eventually comply, we found out one reason why. All his retail businesses NEVER recorded any cash takings in the 7 years
of bank statements provided to us and refused to explain why
