    Truetrac is a good upgrade.

Heaps better than the standard LSD.

Agree there gave it some stick last night and it decided it wanted to use one not 2 wheels ,a bit more power now and it is only an LSD ,i shal chat to Kyle about that today and get a plan in place for that little item he wants this done right .
EP used all genuine parts for the cam install Kyle had allowed for extra costs as we had spoken about what the cost could be ..
It's fun for me as he is doing what i would have liked to have done all those years ago old school for me back then ..

Before I cammed & supercharged my SS even though it used to leave 2 black lines on the road any time I gave it power

the traction was uneven. The car used to get out sideways,

even in a straight line when the auto changed into second gear it could get itself very untidy.

As soon as I fitted the Truetrac it always got more constant traction with both tires.

You would have to drive before & after to know how much better it is.

We fitted another one to another mate's supercharged car & it did exactly the same.

That's what the Ute needs ,it was good before the cam install both would hook up no issues even grabbing second was fine ,now it seems to want to go on a holiday .
I don't want to break anything i will see how it goes from a standing start still have to get use to the clutch power range is fun ,don't want the boys knocking on the door .
Plus it is loud not a quiet loud just loud ,when you get up it it's sort of super car loud.
Cold start today wow brings back memories of my Wade 949A in a 350 i had built up years ago not lumpy as you would know choppy and loud.
My SS is pretty much one wheel 2 when you don't want it to do it .

You should not break anything, (not on the street just using normal street tires)

the 6 speed manual is plenty strong enough & so is the rear end.

If it was auto it would be another story.

Truetrac was a major improvement on my old VT2 SS with heads and cam. That car just wanted to swap ends every time you hit the loud pedal with 304rwkw, at least the trutrac straightened it up a bit. Must say though the VE chassis seems to handle bigger power better than the old VT-VZ setup.

It's not so bad i have found around the back streets it will bite with 2 need the revs up to get to really let it lose, found that last night.
Only issue we have had so far is it has stalled twice, managed to catch it twice more haven't really driven to far in it as yet.
    It turns heads though.

Re: Another car added to the caryard

Kyle will be looking at a trutrac he does agree there.
Took it out for a squirt again, now it keeps stalling low speed, went to park at Gepps Cross home maker centre and it died as we pulled up, same in Hollywood plaza, needed throttle to get it to run then pulling into the driveway at home, anyway i will ring Dave or pop in with the car and see what's what.
But i will say it hauls ass real quick.

Ute goes back tomorrow morn for a look at the idle ,may need to be upped a little bit ,but they will look into the stalling no issues there .
Current idle speed around 975 -1000 rpm.

Should not cut out at those revs.

Mine is auto & idles at 700rpm.

I am sure they will sort it for you.

Re: Another car added to the caryard

Idle is fine, i just have to adjust the way i drive more so on the down change,as i come to a stop.
I use gearbox and brake to slow down, so i will just not use 1st gear as i come to a stop.
Kyle has the tendency to use more brake when slowing down and put it in neutral, where i don't i use both.

It should not be stalling if whether you use the gears to slow down or not.
