    No doubt it is a great show car but I would not pay $860,000 for it.... (I wonder if that even includes the buyer's premium?)

    I would rather a matching numbers original genuine piece of history or something you could put some miles of enjoyment on.


    You couldn't put any miles on it driving it & if you took it to shows everyone would be saying it was someone else's build.

    I found it interesting that the builder said that it was setup to be a driver. So, a show car initially, then retire and be street driven. I bet once it was finished, the owner realised that any damage, let alone an accident would really detract from the car and may mean another build. Better left as a show car I would imagine. Guess we will see what the new owner does with it.

    I would not want to try & sell it on carsales.com for the sold price, let alone with a few stone chips & parking lot battle scars

    or heaven forbid.... after the body work has dried out fully & starts to show any signs of shrinkage etc.

    Can't imagine any normal person paying anything like that money in a normal classifieds sale.



    I would not be surprised if one of those "fake charities" has bought it to raffle on fantasy book.

    Yeah, at that sale price, I expect that you're right. Probably those guys who purchased Brockys VK.
