Diff Ratio Calibration

Hi guys just changed diff ratio in my Vz LS1 calais to 3.9 can anyone help me out with calibration im in Chadstone area

Not in Chadstone area, but not that far away, Ringwood Speedos 98742260, or Howard Instruments, 94574755, are the two that come to mind.

You need to get a tuner to do it, shift points need to be changed on an automatic not just ppk values
otherwise it will not get to the speeds it did with the stock diff gears in each gear change.

Car will instead hold gears because it will never be able to get to the set shift point & hit the rev limiter.

Holden dealer cannot do it even with Tech2.

Your tuner should not charge much to sort it out for you because he will already have paid the software license fee to tune your car.

Yeah very true ive booked to get a full tune done as most tuners are not cheap and dont want to do half a job they recon

Pick your tuner with care, they are not all equal.
Just because they have a fancy corporate looking uniform and sign writing at the shop & their family, friends etc write nice fake reviews on faeces book
doesn't make them any good.
Have seen some really bad, unsafe work done plenty of times.

Yeah not wrong there ,Looking at vcm they have been around for a long time as far as pricing
there all about the same price

Full exhaust diff gears otr, hard to get bookings for tune eveyones busy, might be lucky and get into Chevs next week

Chev is a good tuner, he done some work on a mates car a few years ago.

Not wrong there 5.7 vz calais done today Vz maloo 6.0 R8 gets done tomorrow
