was given the hardtop version (no bonnet scoops of course) by Hertz as a rental when in the USA on hols travelling
the Vegas, Frisco.. LA route many years ago now

Gotta be in my top5 worst things on 4 wheels I have ever driven... slow, bad handling, poor brakes and interior
plastics fit that an 8yo kid could better (plastic bits kept falling on ones feet) AND IT WAS NEW! only a few delivery miles.

Anyway, it got hit up the rear when stopped at lights in San Luis Obispo.. Hertz replaced it with the same thing

I had one years ago in LA.
Paid $9.99 for the 24 hours we needed it.
As you said, slow, bad handling, but served it’s purpose as a luggage hauler to and from the hotel.
Drove it down to Santa Monica for dinner and knew it was safe from theft.
