I would not take too much notice of what the sales guys tell you in that shop.

When I was sorting what I needed doing research to do a supercharger for my car I spoke to them

& they did not even have much product knowledge about their own branded products.

I was actually shocked by how little the guy knew when I asked some slightly technical questions.

If I was still living in Melbourne I would personally go & see the boys at APS & not risk using any unknown shops.

Can recommend Chev. He's done all the work on my Monaro and services it and the GTS. Maybe 20 mins down Eastlink from VCM

Hey mate he was not talking about you he was talking about member "korrupt" as he quoted in the text in his post above

& they were talking about Gary / Chev's workshop, not VCM.

There are always some nice cars in his workshop whenever I'm there. Monaro has had the usual - exhaust, intake, tune, cam, ripshift, clutch. Probably due for something else now...

Supercharger is a great bang for buck mod!

Hi Pickles, Chev and I are still mates just that years ago when I was talking about potentially adding a cam to my supercharged Senator it was just after a tragedy in his family so he asked me to find somewhere else to work on my car as he couldn't handle me becoming a statistic too. Quite reasonable in the circumstances and totally understand because we were close mates. I'm rarely down that way now but occasionally still call in and say hello.
