Is that the building in Docklands?
I thought the collection had gone to Phillip Island
In the past it’s was opened on Father’s Day to raise funds for a charity

yup.. the address for the museum is Collins St Docklands
and from what I read there, most opens are for Charity days

The Fox collection is approx 300(!) casrs in total....
at any time about 80 are on display at Collins St, with a handful
at the Fox residence at Portsea, a few at PI and the rest? over 200
are in the engineering/restoration plant that Fox owns at Essendon Fields
(where cars are serviced, repaired, kept roadworthy, tyres pumped up etc)

We were told that the collection at Collins St, is changed around very 2-3 months

I think LF may have more Gullwing Mercedes than anybody else.

I also recall he has a Porsche 959

Charity days are when the museum is open (usually 10-2) and all proceeds go to a charity... to Lifeline, Cancer council etc that sort of thing
and
from the end of this month the museum will be open (so we were told) 2 days a week to the public... check the web site for days
as the days will change but will usually be one day during the week and one at the weekend

yes.. there are a number of Gullwings (one on displayed pictured above)
and also on display was a 959
