I'm not a hoon, I'm just competitive
Just when I thought I'd be driving the car soon, a fwit truck driver ran into the back of the car while it was parked on the street across from the workshop. Doesn't seem to be any structural damage - rear bumper and boot lid are f'd. Waiting for a panel beater to assess it. The backlog of repair work in Toowoomba is 4 months. Faaarrrkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
Damn!!!
Sorry to hear that.
I would be absolutely ropable with the workshop for leaving my car out in the street for that to happen
especially after the money which you have given them & the length of time they have taken over the work!
They should take more care with customers cars, it's simply not good enough!
I am so sorry to see that Dan, hope it gets fixed well & quick.
I agree with Ed's comments, & I'm amazed at your seemingly very "polite" attitude to what's happened, so well done to you.
Are all the body parts available for the repair?
All the best for a speedy fix.
Was it poorly parked like that or did the truck shunt it quite a bit? I would be checking the driveline for any damage also if it was pushed a fair distance.
ps...Is that you in photo one in the despair position? Could only imagine what was going through your head mate.
The truck was leaving the curb. As he moved right, his bullbar caught the back of my car
