The colour looks like "Thistle Green" to me, the wheels look larger than the ones on the early cars,
I had a 1977 "Thistle Green" 450SL about 30 years ago, it was obviously a used car when I bought it but it was a really nice example.
The colour was not what I would have deliberately picked but the car was a gem.
