The XA was a massive step forward from the XY

It was a much improved, more refined car to drive, with better seats, dashboard, suspension and modern looks

& it was still without the power restricting emission control stuff that was fitted to the later cars so in it's time it was quick.

I think it's a shame the "Supercar" thing killed off the XA Phase IV GTHO because I think the XA would have taken the crown away from the XY.
