weight of a gen III

hello,,hope all is well,,gotta send a gen III to sydney,,have to get a quote,,like to know how heavy is a gen III ,, no tranny,,is 200kg close ? regards John

mate i think they are a little closer to 180kg dry weight. Dont quote me on it though. Hope that helps ya.

Surely not. A 5L is around the 200kg mark, but the LS1 is all alloy, the block is around 40kgs - I couldn't see a complete long motor being more than about 120kgs.
