    New toy E2 Maloo..

    Hi all....

SO firstly I must disclose that I have just recently come over from the dark side, having owned and enjoyed a FPV F6 ute for last few years, took delivery of my long awaited E2 Maloo..

    Previous car:

    pros: -2007 FPV F6 Tornado
    -6 speed auto
-Leather, 19" dark agent rims, DARK tint, carryboy canopy(with tint)
-Process west Stage 2 Cooler, CAI and x-over pipes
-KPM 4 inch dump pipe into h/f cat and 3" full stainless zorst
    -EBC red pads
    -72 lb injectors/iridium sparks
-10psi custom tune thanks to VCM/Autotechnique
    -346 rwkw

    cons: -blue oval badge
    -poor build quality
    -leaf sprung rear end
    -poor build quality
    -poor build quality
    -poor build quality

ok so now thats out of the way

    New toy
Specs (not likely anyone doesnt know whats in a maloo but hey)
    2010 HV E2 Maloo LS3 6.2l n/a
    Herron White
Optional 20" pentagon wheels (now sitting on HSVPREZ's E2 R8)
    Leather and bi-modal.

I hang my head in shame when i say that she is currently sitting on wheel stands awaiting my new rims from germany as swap over between factory wheels and new ones didnt work out as i'd liked..

    Mods so far:
-replaced factory rubber with new slip stream wheel stands
    -8000k HID low beam kit.
-BBS 19" on order (pics to come)
-tint getting done this week once wheels back on and i have the time.

    planned soon:
-VCM otr once they are finally released
-VCM headers/cats 3" mid section. I would really like to see how the bi-modal muffler sounds when i open up the rest of the exhaust, if it sounds nice then that will be staying, have to wait to get her on the hoist to see how everything fits as I havent seen much info around so far on various zorst mods.
    -lots more later on
will hopefully be getting pics up as soon as i am allowed, until then I just thought i'd introduce myself, so far have to say from the second i sat in my new girl i've felt nothing but impressed with the HSV and dont see myself being disapointed which is what happened with the FPV.

    more soon

Good choice, I have a black E2 Maloo and at 17000kms I still get excited every time I get into it.

I went down the (APS) Liquid Injection LPG road, not disappointed there either.

They are just the best car on the road.

    Shep.

Yeah thanks guys im trying to get the posts # up so can put up pics

Shep would like to get on the Liquid Injection band wagon but dont know if i'll be able to justify as this is now my weekend toy, unlike my previous ute (84,000kms in 26 months). But the power figures from it are just astounding!!

WILL PUT PICS UP SOON AS POSSIBLE

Yep the more miles you do the quicker it pays for itself.

Full size front, I think it is a pentagon. it is a 245/35/20 though, I must look myself one day.

Sounds awesome!! I love my white SSV ute but would kill for a white E2 Maloo!!!

You only have 4 posts (posts in My Ride, Tar Pit etc don't count) and need 20 to be able to post pics so put the links up without the www or separators so the editor doesn't interpret it as a link and I or someone will post them for you. eg. photobucket com albums o999 ................ etc

Seeing that she is sitting on wheel stands at the moment I found it quite easy, removed the dust guard inside the wheel arches and found access quite easy, mounted the ballasts inside the rails with combination of GOOD QUALITY double sided tape and was able to pre drill one hole for front of the ballast to fit a small bolt and nuts. Fairly straight forward will post pics. Definitely worth the time as long as you spend the coin on a quality product. Would steer clear of anything that doesn't offer a warranty.
