    2 home made 340rwkw F6 Typhoon videos!

From a dude on Fordxr6turbo.com forums I thought these were pretty awesome videos. Taken while in second gear without flooring it.

Gotta love how quickly it jumps from 60-100kph in that second vid with wheels fighting for traction .... nice. As someone who hasn't driven one, what's the chiming in the first vid when the tyres are screeching? ... is it traction control or chime to advise gear change?

Not a traction control chime, it's a shift chime, does the same job as a shift light, but not as effective, it warns you that you are about to have the throttle closed by the computer (rev limiter)

Out of curiosity, what's a XR6T like with similar power? Does it jump from 60-100km/h like that shown in the F6 clip? It'd be good if someone posted a XR6T clip to compare.

If the beast in that clip has 340rwkw then I doubt a standard XR6T would be even in the same ballpark performance wise. Looks impressive but I still reckon 10 minutes with that blow off valve and I would be ready to someone.

Thanks Nick, however I was referring to a XR6T with 340rwkw not stock. The thing that impressed me was the time it took to get from 60-100.

Reading your post again that was pretty clear wasn't it ... sorry. I would assume it would be just as impressive. Is there anything that the F6 has that would make it quicker with the same power ? What's funny, and I am not saying there is anything dodgy here, but in the first clip you can see the roadside going past, and it sure doesn't look like the car is doing 100km/h

Hey guys, how are you all???

    Enjoying your cars i hope.

Um thats actually my car in that video and the purpose of it wasnt to actually spin the wheels but trying to NOT spin the wheels, i actually dont floor it in those and im trying to gradually put my fott down so as not to spin them.. If i just floor in in second from 2000 rpm it will just instatly go into wheel spin and go no where. I was trying to show the exceleration rate thats all.

It makes 760 nm at the tyres at 3700 rpm and 340 rwkw's @ 4900 rpm.

It has a stock exhaust and just a set of injectors cat and air intake mod and blo off valve.

Its biulding boost by 1500 rpm so lag isnt really an issue in the car, I dont use first gear when playing on the street i shift straight to second and GENTLY squeeze the throttle to try and get traction like i did in those vids.

Hope i cleared that up.. Next time im on a "Private road" ill do one with just flooring it straight up
