    looking good gary ,i just wired up my actuators today ,just waiting for the hardlid [monday]just thinking about the hinge problem,did you see the ve ute in the brochure,the rams were bolted at the rear facing foward,which i guess would push towards the hinge maybe be keeping it tight,not sure which is the right way to mount them but facing rear like you have them would be pushing the lid out of the hinge maybe.?

    just had a look at the video from the supplier [www.autoremotehardlid.com.au]im pretty sure the rams have to face foward,it will also give you more lift.
