Say what? Where have you been hiding??? The VE Utes came out this week or even last week...

yeah they have been released but they haven't started production yet.
they will be hitting dealerships in a few weeks

here's pics of my new SSV series VE Ute. Picked it up yesterday - Atomic Metalic with leather and hard lid. went for a long cruise yesterday and another early this morning!! what a joy! full review to follow, once i can get out of the thing.

They're delivered already, there's some in Tassie so I dare say they'd be in most other states already too!

some dealers have been given "saleable" off tool cars to be displayed, but that is different to cars rolling off an assembly line.

Fair enough, my point was that you CAN buy them now! So whoever posted could in fact have one...

i could be wrong, and if somebody knows for sure id be happy to be corrected but i though holden dealers are not allowed to hand over any utes to customers yet.

thats why i was suss on this guys claim, dont mean to sound like a prick, but i just didnt believe it

I agree with you Chris.

I went to the VE Ute preview here in Perth last week, and Holden told us that they would not be on sale until October. So I am highly sceptical that a member of the general public has already picked theirs up.

Where are the pics that he 'tried' to post too?

Oh ok, well you probably know more than I do, but I just assumed given they were sitting in dealers in little old Tassie already someone could easily have one already...
Obviously not though, wonder if you can test drive them yet???

yeah thats a reasonable assumption to make dude, i might be wrong but that is just what i thought.....we will see i guess!!!

Here is my old man's ute that was sold today to make way for a VE R8. Certainly going to miss the ute it was like a member of the family but congrats to the new owner, certainly got a great buy.

Being originally from the UK I fell in love with the Holden Ute and it's took 18 months to get mine, and as I say I Love it! My first V (6) and after driving fours for years It just gets better ...
