Hope to have some pics soon of my Stage 1 detail with Damian Fri arvo and also my daughter's Stage 3 on her VY2 SS which Damian started Fri evening and she picked up tonight. Just waiting for him to post the pics on his site.

You know i like those rims and you buy them out of spite and force the future s.i.l to buy the old ones .
    You have no heart.

Your Dus OTR looks shit hot in white.

Might get mine painted up in Silver I think.

Be great to see what yours pulls with everything fitted and edit done.

Gary are going to put up another sound file after the edit is done ?

Thanks Fish. Yep, Damian from FI. Unfortunately he is so busy on details he still hasn't had a chance to post the pics.......

PS When I arrived on Friday to get the ute done he was just finishing a brand new Skyline from Tassie. The owner had had it shipped over to Melbourne then trucked up to Damian and the reverse process was about to take place back to the dealer for the rest of pre-delivery.

Good idea painting yours! Yep, will certainly get another sound file done after the exhaust has all carboned up etc.

    Re: The WonkyUte (SSV)

Just had a look through Damian's pics of my detail and as it was late and dark outside where he normally takes some given the limited room inside, there aren't any particularly special ones.

Not Chevy badges, though am hoping JUSWANWON can come up with some good replacements for the big, round Holden lion badges on the grille and tailgate, or might pull that one off the tailgate. Would love a G8 type bonnet but too expensive.

It's hard to tell from that pic but it does look very shiny and dust hoses off it very easily!

Gary if JUSTWANWON can come up with some sort of replacement for the round Holden lion badge on the grille I certaintly would be interested.
Nothing available for the Calais todate.

I am just going to black the badge I think as there is no other option.

Mike, I've asked JUSWANWON (Gary) to design a grille badge along the lines of the new SSV badge on the tailgate, so it won't suit a Calais V. He only does it as a hobby and works away from home a lot so takes him a while, but given the quality of his work I'm prepared to wait. If you have any ideas for one maybe PM him and see what he says.

Thanks Gary I will PM JUSWANWON and see if he is thinking of something for the VE Calais and if he has some time in the future to put us Calais owners out of our round chrome grille misery.
