if your car was auto, u will need to bridge out the wires under the center console (where the inhibitor switch was)

I realised this while half asleep in bed this morning oops.

I'll bridge it later, for now I'm happy to flick a wire to +ve to fire the starter

no idea how long steering will take to sort out. That's the big one.

yeah and need to either cave in CAE's bull shit header pipe more, or grind down that sleeve that connects column to rack... already hammered the pipe in, but still worried about them interfering under load and jamming steering

****ing piece of shit headers, don't ever buy them.

got a high pressure line brand new suit VZ LS1, i think the rack end will need bent to clear the header.. have been told I need to heat it up to do that.

yeah. ok.. best to heat it and try not to crush the pipe and restirct flo.. hmm i was going to buy there 4 into 1 1 7/8 headers from them.. but seeing your havin so much drama with the smaller tri y's i may not bother.. looks like some custom ones are the go

i'd email them and ask for confirmation in writing that they will fit, and money back guarantee if they don't.

stupid ****s, if i had time to deal with it, I'd be on their case trying to get some cash back from them but it's too much of a head **** and i have less than 4wks to finish this car now

    Re: Sam's VN

I've been unhappy with every thing that i have brought from cae and the rod shop. nothing ever fits how they say it should. when i got the starter relocation kit they supplied me with a starter for the old cast iron block 350.. when i rang them they told me i was looking at it wrong. lol

i'll probly just buy the headers and modify as required.. I can actually get them cheaper through chris mills in perth rather than direct from cae.. figure that one out heh

LOL no burnouts in garage, shed full of hay.

After this Friday I am leaving my job to make some serious progress on the car. I want it driving ASAP, not even going to set a deadline because I'll just look like a retard when I miss it.

I tried that too, standard vn pump and standard fuel system/return lines but the fuel pressure wasnt constant, i even tried a BMW X5 external pump that has the fuel reg in it but it didnt help so with the prices of aftermarket fuel regs, pumps and surge tanks i decided to do a boot setup! It saves so much headaches/messing around

I went custom pipes built by professional exhaust in victoria, i couldnt trust people that claim that they made a set of pipes that guarantee fit when i believe every car is different!! Pipes i have sound great and fit perfect even with the little room we all have in the engine bay
