Ok so it sounds like im busted!

Decided last night that I might bolt the ASE T800 kit that has been sitting on the floor of my office for a couple of months and had no time to install etc because ive been flat and and all of the spare time working on the drag ute.

I have never installed an ASE VE turbo kit before and I thought this would give me an idea of the install time, quality and performance, etc. Then I can pass this onto my customers.

So far im VERY impressed!

No cutting anywhere, quality parts that fit. Everything bolted up very simply and easily and in 10 hours all we have to do it bolt the sump back on and mate up the exhaust!

I will put it on the dyno tomorrow sans exhaust for a bit of a look. Because it has a cam in it, im expecting to max out the standard fuel system (just with 60lb injectors) on the 8psi wastegate spring but we will see.

This week ill mate up the exhaust system, make up a fuel system and wind it up to a nice 10psi and leave it. Ive got the eBoost2 sitting here ready to go.

Gave the ute a full few runs tonight. The standard fuel system surprised me once again but you have to remember its only 8000km old but here was plenty of pressure.

I cant wait to wind it up to 10psi but we will wait for a fuel system for that one.
