I'm wondering if your feeling handy to make another custom box what's it roughly worth in materials though? Also does it sound as good as it did with the original alpine box?
The box sounds good has more punch than It did in the Alpine box, I'll work out the cost to make one.
Mabe I could do you some DIY instructions and you can have a go at it?

The unit has come up tops, definantly ties in with the rest of the theme

Thank you that would be great, I'm keen to give it a go that's for sure.

Also how about covering the silver dash stripes in the red felt you have done the glovebox in? Or paint them a red that matches, they have no place there now being silver.

Do I do all the silver bits in the car black or just the dash strips?
Mite just leave it the way it is I'm getting sick of pulling it apart all the time

Don't bother dude. If you're going to change the silver strips, you'll need to change the silver steering wheel spokes, the gear shift surround and the cup holder surround, otherwise there's always going to be something out of place. If you want to, black suede would look awesome... Give it a richer feel.

Anyway, It all ties in now! Your interior is very similar to how the Series IIs look with red. I have the combo and it's a similar look, however I like yours better haha.

Well done with your level of attention to detail, its the small things that make all the difference!

I'd have to disagree with that. The silver ties in with the steering wheel spokes and the auto shifter surround. Personally, i think it breaks it up, and ties it all in nicely..be overkill otherwise in my opinion.

Maybe get a silver power window switch and traction control button from the series II models? Would look sweet against the gloss black gear shift surround, and tie in with the silver dash strip and steering wheel?
And that's being fussy, looks awesome just the way it is. Love it mate, and the stereo just completes it!
