    Re: MY09.5 SSV Ute

Had a tinker with the boost controller on the dyno and wanted to see how far the stock fuel system on my ute would go before it leaned out.

New base run before i started with the old boost and setup was 398rwkw

All in the name of science

    Re: MY09.5 SSV Ute

    Little bit of an update:

Have just clocked over 12,000km. Awhile ago put in some

    Boston Acoustics Pro60SE Splits
    Alpine PDX-F6 with a 12" Sub
    re-Q5
    Ripshifter
    Philips HIDs
    Some nice black engine covers

Been going fantastic for 5000km with the stock fuel pump and turbo but i've decided I wanna boost it up a bit more (im running 18+psi in the drag ute, can you blame me!). I recently changed over the injectors in my VU SS drag ute to 2000cc ones and have the old 1000cc ones laying around.

I decided I would put them in the VE and an ASE fuel system. Im going to wind it up to a max of 14psi on E85 (or lower if the fuel system wont flow enough) and see what she can do.

New fuel system rocked up today:

On petrol I will run 11-12psi. Will keep you updated

    Jez

    Re: MY09.5 SSV Ute

Put the old 1000cc/min injectors (XSpurt1000) out of the drag ute in tonight. Purring like a kitten. They really are easy to control for such a large injector.

Putting the fuel system in on Sat and will give her a run up. Probably won't be with E95 this time though, just 98RON

    Fuel system is in.

434rwkw and 1126Nm on 9.5psi up top. Just can't push it any higher up top in boost.

Going to check over the BOV etc. Then when I get some spare time I'll put some E95 in and screw in a bit more boost and timing for a bit of fun. I could nearly run it fulll time, I just drive 5 mins to work everyday

Definately feel the difference at the moment. Loving it!

Jezz , can you run it at the same ramp rate as the previous sheet for comparison or will the rollers not hold it ???

    Jezza

What would the fuel system peak at - (Also what price )

I want to drive an mp1900 as hard as I can on an SSV Special edition with 60lb injectors, cam etc in auto form.

    Cheers

Depends on the fuel running. With petrol I have plenty of scope at the moment. as for price. Give ASE a ring
