I just bought one myself, and what jesterarts has said it spot on. $215 shipped to Australia. I didnt have any problems buying straight from them and they look like a great product, plus have only heard great things from them.

    cheers

It was about $155 delivered and it is very well made.
I also bought one of these, but it won't fit for my car, VE ls2 there's wiring and pipe work in the way. The ls2/3 are mounted on the passenger side

If you bought the one for the GTO then you got the wrong one. The VE is the same as G8. They have different brackets.

I think you need the comaro rod, I had the same problem, Justin eneded up getting me the rod, but I ended up leaving mine mounted to the battery.

Is it for the billet prototypes catch can? If so what does the rod look like is it longer or something? Do you still have it and maybe want to sell it?

Will take a happy snap later and post it up.

If you go to the Elite website it shows you where it goes, I didnt end up using it cause it was going to be a bit of a pain to empty.

I have just had a look at their website and either i am going blind or they dont mention the G8 anymore or the rod

But they now offer another couple of options.

    Will post pic later

Well I'm not sure if there the same as mine isn't an elite one, it's the billet prototype as someone posted a link. They look similar so it still may work but who knows. Post the pic if you can. I might have to go with the other bracket just didn't want more hoses running everywhere.

heres the pic of the rod, as Elite dont have this bracket anymore, probably for the same reason I didnt end up using it, painful.

Goes on the block near the water pump. One end has a a female thread in the rod.

This is where I ended up mounting mine.

This is how i mounted mine... Its on a 2010 L98. Heater hoses have been relocated which frees up abit of room. Found an empty 10mm hole just above where the heater hoses connect to the engine.

The bracket fouled against just above the hole so i made a 10mm spacer to clear it. Mounted using a M10 x 30mm bolt with spring washer and 2 flat washers between the bracket, then the spacer.

The hoses are connected from the crank case? (silver) to catch can then from catch can to behind the throttle body (black).

Easy enough to unscrew the base for emptying aswell.
Installed it 4 days ago and has already caught a heap of oil. Surprising how much was going into the intake!

I have a radiator mount coming to test, should be here when I get back, will give a report after I have fitted it or not fitted it if it doesnt work.

Also looking at doing a group buy once I have tested the new bracket.

I just mounted mine and used the same in out connections you have. Others are plumbing differently. This method of yours is as per elite instructions. I take it as being correct

I like that installation Mick! Almost looks like it's meant to be there. I haven't bothered adding one so far because in most installs they stick out like dogs balls.
