    What did you get at the supercheap (other auto stores) boxing day sale?

    Seemed alot of guys here have been hanging out for it mostly to get castrol edge on sale so thought id see what other bargains everyone else got?
    Will be going there about 3 myself so will contribute then haha

    Well i was at autobarn the other day, 23rd of dec.

    Castrol edge $65/5L pack, spewin i had just done the rest of my christmas shopping and couldnt buy any.
    So im going back today to stock up for the year

    No proper sale.
    Only discounts on items in their catalogue. WTF!?!?

    No discount on castrol edge.

    Repco gave me a 20% discount on edge this morning...they have 20% off vouchers for your next purchase behind the counter!!

    My trade price from repco was more than i bought it for retail at Autobarn today, even if i bought a 20L drum it was still cheaper to buy 5L packs

    I got a Mothers clay bar kit and some tyre shine 20% off, I only went for some Mothers pre wax cleaner but they were sold out dammit.

    My local Repco only does trade prices for people with a trade card, Bursons is just up the road and gives trade prices to people with a MVRIC license so I havent been to Repco in a while.
    Not sure what the other Repcos are like but my local is more like Autobahn now, mostly seat covers and head light protectors.

    Just a heads up for s/cheap -went into a store for a look around today & while speaking to one of the staff they mentioned that a 20% off store wide sale will happen with in the next week or so.

    I was disappointed with supercheap boxing day sale. Instead of the 20% off sale across the board they have an Upto 50% off sale where nothing really was on sale, all the rubbish was on sale.

    Autobarn had a 20% off sale across the board instead.

    However I received supercheap vouchers for Christmas in anticipation for thw supercheap 20% off sale which didnt happen.

    Next year ill ask for cash and ill shop wherever has the legitimate sale.

    Yep, i was pretty annoyed. I went to both (Supercheap and Repco) and both sales were CRAP. Hopefully they'll have a half decent sale soon
