Consider how much HSV charges for parts and then try and work out what they'd charge if they started offering more "options". There is a reason there are companies like Walkinshaw, Nismo and Hennessy. Manufacturers do not and will not go into the performance "aftermarket" scene.
boohoohoo,
thats how i felt when the car was on the down hill slide, everything was going bad for me.
when i first saw the car it was very exciting to look at,took for a drive and all seemed fine, one lady owner low kms.
Then i started giving it a pizzling ,and then came noisey lifters, and the dreaded red oil light at idle, panic stations,i was going to launch the engine into the shed and buy a complete new motor.
Rang about the traps, and a importer said give samsperformance a ring, and that i did.Sam knew all the problems with the engine,so i yanked it and took to him,and to tell the truth, every penny was worth spending to keep this shape of car,its a shit hot machine NOW,only wished it was that to start with,i probably should have researched first.Luckly i got it for a good price and had the spare coin to make better than new.
The engine doesn,t use oil and goes real hard,a nice strong 440hp for the family car.
I LOVE MY H.S.V and thats all that really matters.
