Something I love about Android is that it doesn't crash apps as much as Apple.
Wait, what? Yeah, that's right.
Something something more polished operating system something.

Sorry that is simply not true.
The first patch I put on the phone had a fix for power usage, but after the update it hung twice in a week, I checked and there was a bug fix for the patch so I applied that and since then I have not had a hang or a need to power the phone off. Now I loaded that patch in August last year so I would have noticed a lock up in that time I think.
I am supprised a bit by those numbers, but most apple users do not notice hangs they reset an go on.
Just ask the 1000's of customers effected by the problems with lion on NAS devices. Apple were told about the issues by IBM, Netapps and every other NAS supplier in the industry and they shipped it without a fix anyway, but when large customers around the world started crashing they had to do a fix.
If you dont believe meit.
I almost never power off my Win 7 or XP machines i just suspend them, but lots of people still have issues with PC's.

Yet to have a crash or hang on my SGS2. I am on 2.3.5

2.3.6 is the latest. There were a few changes to UI and the usual "battery life improvements" (I never believe them till I see it). Ice Cream Sandwich is out this year so unless you're having issues you might as well just wait for that.
I went back to an iPhone after having the original one years ago and being bitterly disappointed with its downfalls. My partner got the SGS2 after having a iPhone 3G and I went from trusty Nokia to iPhone 4.
Tbh I am over the tinkering of phones, last one I did was a HTC which was complicated as feck but nowadays it's easy to mod. The iPhone is to me just so simple, I want to take a photo I take a photo, I want to MSG I message. Not dicking around it does that from the word go.
I must be lucky as the only time I had an app crash was when the fb app has a dodgy beta update, that aside its been fine.

As posted earlier I jumped from an SGS (broke) to a 4S. Phone is less than 6 months old and has been fine until two weeks ago. My battery now goes from 90% to flat in less than 4 hours without use whilst at work. Previously that would be 2 days worth. Problem with sw but more likely battery me thinks. Off to whirlpool to investigate. Second return for Apple quality product.

For those that have not seen the Macbook wheel.

It is a funny video but Apple/iPhone bashers always seem to have 'issues'. It's as though they are compensating for something...and get worked up at other people's choices. I have a few Android phones, with each one I desperately try to love the OS (as the hardware is often better than Apple's) and there are some very good things about them, but to me the overall user experience tends to be inferior. Call it personal choice. However, Android fanboys tend to imply that those of us who enjoy iOS are an inferior species who cannot appreciate the wonderful technical brilliance of their choices. Call me a heathen but Windows Phone appears to be a more elegant OS than Android.

What, the apps that caused less crashes than the iPhone apps? Here's an idea, open a new tab and type "www..com.au" and then in the box provided type "how many Android apps have viruses, malware or spyware?" and look through the results for a swanky graph. When you find one, post it up. That might be a bit advanced for you though, so maybe first type in "how do I do things for myself?" and read up on some of the answers provided.
Then thank your lucky stars that Apple is impervious to any form of virus, malware or spyware![]()
I did not post it because i hate iPhones or Apple products, I posted it because thought it was Funny.
