    V8 Brutes engine specs??

Anyone know the deails of the engine specs used in this catagory? The commentators stated that they are 310kw. I assume this would be at the treads as they seem quite quick. They sound tuff too....

i,d be thinking the 310kw would be at motor so basically an exhaust and tune on a stocker ???? could be wrong tho!!!! doing it this way would make it easier to keep a level playing field between us and them hahah!!!! cheers

I thought they changed the cams in both the ford and holden motors for parity reasons?

    Jake,
Is the fitment of the SS inductions gear in effort to restrict output for parity reasons?

The old 5litres in AU's got a small cam and bit of work to keep up with the 6L, FG utes have the coyote 5l engine(not supercharged) interesting the see how that goes

Dont look at the engine as the reason it did though. Sure its better than the L98 but they are tuned for parity so its not an advantage... Well thats the theory anyway

Yeah they think the Ford rode the kerbs better and thus could pick up the throttle earlier...

Really, I thought ford hadn't made a call on the n/a version yet and they were still 5.4l boss motors?

They haven't. It's no longer a production car class if you will. The 5.0 N/A was completely done without ford AU support. They had to really for ford to stay in the class. Not like they could have them running stock GS engines. The Holden's wouldn't stand a chance
