It does seem a bit annoying, but i think its only new, i dont remember it being there when i uploaded my pics to the garage.

Does anyone else think the watermarked LS1 moniker and website address across the middle of the photos in ‘The Garage’ section detracts from the cars?
I understand the use of watermarks in copyright situations so could someone help me understand why the LS1 forum would need to mark members’ photos and ruin them in the process?

Would it make it harder for scammers to copy the photos to falsley advertise cars?
id like to see how much a scammer could sell my car for...
If keeping the Forum member’s cars safe from have their image stolen is the reason, then why aren’t all the images in the ‘My Ride’ Section watermarked as well.
It has to do with images HOSTED on the server ... we are not altering your original image only the image served from the forum server.. this serves many purposes and a simplesearch for reasons behind watermarking images will give you a fair idea ..
The watermark is meant to be a unobtrusive as possible.
Oh also the Garage will ultimately replace the My Ride section ..![]()

i don't mind the concept of water marking, but maybe is the shadow effect of it was turned down a bit as it makes it hard to see details in the images
Lots of forums do this, if it's an issue then don't put forum hosted pics up![]()
GM: Has millions of dollars and highly trained engineers.
Guy in his backyard: Has a hole saw.
All the watermarks on my car are currently at the bottom of the pics and don't obscure the car at all,. Maybe it has to do with the size of the pic where the watermark appears?
~~DON'T GET MAD, GET EVEN~~
Looks much better now the watermark is at the bottom rather than the center. Cheers.
I moved the watermark to the bottom to see how it looksSeems to be the preferred location so will leave it at the bottom
