Well small update all the new audio gear is wired up and I'm super happy with the result, nice clean punchy bass just the way I like it but the thing I was most blown away by was the change in sound quality i got from my type R splits by changing the amp to the PDX-F6, it's like I've changed the speakers it's that big a change. Lights and some more dynamat and I'm done.

I've been stuffing around with wheels for a bit now, tryed 22s but as much as l like em I don't think it's the way to go. Starting to think these mite be the go.

I know the pentagons look fine on the car but I'm just getting over them as I've had em on the car from the day I picked it up and I feel like a change.

Rob, let me know if you find the sv's somewhere. I'm keen for a set as well (at a reasonable price).

Not going to be easy to find, wheel king has em but at $1100 per rim he can keep them. I'm going to try ringing around wheel shops and see if I can find a set someone's traded in.

$4400 rims only is a joke. With tyres your looking at over $6000 for wheels. Id pay 2500-3000 for a good used set with no to little markings (i'd be happy to sandblast and powder coat them anyway - I can do it myself). But 6G is plain stupid.

You'll have high hopes finding a set that's been traded. The owner has to option the wheels on the car (which is like another $2000+ from the factory). So after paying the premium for the wheels, I can't see many owners taking them off to fit aftermarket wheels. If they wanted aftermarkets, they wouldn't have optioned for the SVs. There may be someone who'll do it, but I can't imagine it being a popular choice.

Let me know what you find though, i'm keen to get a set at the right price.

There a no cost option for MY12 GTS and they were fitted to all the black editions so I thought i mite stand a chance of picking up a traded set but I mite be wrong.
Im with you on the price $2k to $3k for rims is fine but anything over that is just to much to pay, I'll put tyres on my pentagons (think ill try a set of nitto invo's) and just keep looking till I find a set of sv's for the right price.

I didn't know they were free on the GTS as an option. The Black editions I was aware of. I think the wheels are one of the biggest attractions to a black edition though. I'd buy one for the wheels, but that could just be me. I hope you're right Rob, Im keen.

They will turn up, I found a shop that had a set from a black edition (they said the owner wanted 22s) but I was 2 days to slow and they had sold them. I've left my info with a bunch of places so now I'll just have to wait.
