just seems that these are not updating? i just looked & the last posting was the 13/5,seems a long time between new listings,is that right?

Yeah has been like like for a few months now. Mods just don't seems to update or approve new listings for ages these days.

A number of Mods have gone offline to take care of some personal things, and others have stepped down from the role altogether.
It appears like I'm the only one taking care of them and I'm traveling interstate 3-4 days a week on a work project with little to no opportunity to get on the forums. Doing my best to clear the backlogs whenever I'm able to get online.

People advertise the same item across multiple sites and forums to hedge their bets on getting a quick sale. This is not really new or directly related to delayed thread approvals here. The same ads are likely in the queue here as well.


To the OP, this issue has been covered off in a number of other threads recently. Sidey mentioned in one of the others he is looking at some new Mods on a lower permission hierarchy to take care of simple admin jobs like classifieds, garage to bring the workload down on the few remaining long term Mods.

I will look into adding some Classified forum mods after a couple of weeks when my workload lightens up a bit and I can give it some thought.

Everyone wants to be a mod until they figure out it is actually work that eats into time they would rather spend doing something else.

Well the last 2 days have been very quick approvals, so thank you mods. I also dont expect this level of responsiveness...

If you really have a problem with delays in advertisements getting approved, i would like the mods are open to financial motivation....

Much easier doing it when I'm back home at my PC instead of in a seedy regional motel on my Galaxy S2.
I'm always available for financial motivation, and accept all major credit cards.

I think one of the most annoying things about posting ads on here is that people asked to be PM'd and so far it's been a week and no reply to some ads.

Why post an ad if your not really motivated to sell?

EDIT - Just to make myself clear im referring to "give a man an inch and he'll take a mile". Response time over the last week has been outstanding... Anything less than a week is perfectly acceptable (in fact considering the mods are volunteers its perfectly acceptable regardless of how long they take to approve).
