Could you 'like' or 'dislike' your own posts like on other forums?
in the old days we used to have a like/dislike option.
And some users very quickly disappeared into negative ratings. LOL
Thems were the days

Q. If a user clicks on the little black star that is at the bottom of each post, and "adds to the peputation" of the poster, does the poster that is getting the "brownie points" see it in Notifications along with who gave it ?
Maybe someone who has got reputation added to already, can answer.

Did it work?
Sure did - no user info on who gave reputation adding . (your comment was there though)
I will return your rep add when I see a post of yours that I support (there has already been a few)
BTW the amount of points awarded (your click added 21 points) must work on post count?
seems like a bit of a gimmick to me?
STEP RIGHT UP PUNK, AND WATCH ME LAY DOWN A RUBBER ROAD TO FREEDOM!!!!!
Did I use 21 characters?
Just so long as people can't go liking themselves, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to have a rating on your post if it helped - there are some pretty good responses from people on this forum when compared to some others I visit.
Once notification was read ..... it disappeared and is not in "Like and Dislikes" either.
I was thinking points may be awarded on post count divided by 10 as that would work out right as I have just over 200 posts.
Some users won't find the extra time for gimmickery ....that is understandable .
But do you think it possible for those that get rapped up in point building that it might turn into a big contest on who can be the best 'Mr. Perfect-nice-guy' ?
Well if everyone would go and click "like this post" on this message, we'll know soon
Muahahaha.
I'm bathing in green square riches!!!
not this crap again
wonder what mine says?
I'm not a hoon, I'm just competitive
