howdy all. as im new to LS1's im just wondering if anyone can suggest a good book or 2 to get, one of those ones that covers the whos, whats, whens, how to's, what fors and how much (torque settings) etc specifically for the LS1
just gunna save me posting heaps of propably pointless questions that have probably been asked and covered before (yes yes, search button, but we all know most forum search features arent much chop!)
thanks in advance for any advice, cheers!

yeah that sorta thing, just thought someone may have prior experiance with one
ahh can't help you there, I've given up on trying to be a home mechanic since getting an LS powered car!
don't really know of anyone locally who does their own work on these motors either.
My collection.
Plenty of good stuff available...
yeah i wont be doin a great deal either, but find it nice to know, book knowledge is better than no knowledge at all.
also helps when shopping for parts as well.
Depends what you are trying to do. "How to Build and Modify GM LS-Series Engines" by Potak is very good.
just general info on the motors themselves is what im after. how to's are good as well.
i should just say "a good all rounder" hey!
