Like the look of the LX8 but the fact it has close to 240k kms and its in Brissy is a bit of a turn off... The price is good though.. I wonder what is wrong with it? Trouble with auctions, i've never been and everyone i've spoken to kind of says to stay away from them, unless you know what you're looking at and can do a bit of tinkering here and there!
Looks the goods though, gather by the gear in the car it was a salespersons car or something?
Why won't they become available here in Vic with slightly less kms, even if they were 4-5k dearer! lol
What do all you guys think of it? I mean, it looks to have service books with it.....? Its just a pain its from the auctions and you just don't know that much about condition and so fourth.... Plus, its a major hike to get there and back if it all went sour!
I know we mentioned kms and part and that earlier but I just think it may be too many?? Maybe I'm just being unreasonable?? Thoughts
give them a ring , you'll find them quite informative and forthright ( well the guys at pickles are )
and that LX8 is fixed price pre auction i think , as i don't know how manheim work .
I've bought my XUV at auction , mums vz berlina and dads VE Internatinal wagon , all good no probs .
Yeah , lot of kays , but the price is good and you might get a 3 month warranty when they sell them pre auction ,
give em a call
Mine is coming up on 240K now, only thing that shows it's age is the Suspension, Engine/Trans are perfect!
That LX8 has the original sat nav too. I have heard its pretty ordinary though.
here ya go in melbourne only 20,000k on the clock at a bargin price 43k , lol

I have heard back from Bris and the car has history, apparently it was a dealer book (I guess that means someone traded it in and it wasn't suitable for their yard?).
It has faulty front parkers also... Not quite sure what else, but apparently its in quite good condition. Just unknown really... Who from Bris can check it out?? lol
will they allow an RACQ TEST they might reciprecate the RACV member price
http://www.racq.com.au/motoring/cars...le_inspections
might be overkill , but the price is half of whats going ,
but then you could factor in a holiday with the mrs to queensland to pick car up ,
with a romantic drive thru the hunter wine region ohn the way back , lol
You will know when the right one comes along don't rush and don't let emotion get into if you have doubt then walk away.
