Essentially, Im just using all the same equipment as the Walkinshaw upgrade.

The lightweight version.... too reduce weight while racing...lol



rocketing down the main straight and the thing broke its tabs and flew off. Ended up landing on the road with not a mark on it. There was about 5 mins to go in the session and still nobody drove over it....

I think you've proved that vents actually need to vent and not be bonnet ornaments looks like you should have unplugged yours!

Nah it proves I shouldn't have been tight and should have gotten them fixed on properly.

I'm certainly going to remove those grommets and I actually have discussed cutting that section out altogether (section where rubber grommet is)

Finally see what is under the vents, saved me the curiosity of breaking vent to have a look, glad yours were ok
Btw when you changed the rear spoiler to lip spoiler did you have any problems with unused holes exposed?

No mate the walkinshaw lip covers all 4 holes.

Did you have any marks in the paint from the original spoiler? I had some that I cut out.



The front marks are still visible if you look closely.
