Hows it go Bonners? Catch much?
not sure
I have mounted the can and run the hoses etc. I had one of those spring type clips to hold on the hose on to the outlets remaining from the removed looped hose.
However, I can only push the hose as far as the 'collar' which is used for the looped hose fitting. Then the spring clamp (thats my wonderful technical term for it).
Is this as far as it needs to go and will it be alright or does it need to get over the collar and then the clamp. I just cant get it over the collar in the space....
The hoses only push on about half way, up to the lip but not past..
I just used hose clamps and a long screw driver to secure them, alot easier than spring clamps and they are hidden from view once everything is back in place.

Yep mine looks exactly the same. I still haven't driven the car. Do you think I would be best to put clamps on like yours or stick with the 'spring'ones (which are located at the same place you have yours)
If you already have the spring ones in there id leave them, they do they same job.. i only use the screw type because they are easier to handle in tight spots.

just don't know if they are tight enough. But yeah they were a bitch.....lol
I didn't use any clips, screw or spring on mine and haven't had any problems with oil or fumes leakage.
Maybe when the hoses get old they will need clips to make a good seal but at present and last 3-4 years haven't had a problem.
I fitted some split sprinkler fittings over the brass fittings to give a more factory look.
With the split covers fitted, just an elbow with one end cut off and used for the straight section and the box section used over the elbow.
