Like / Dislike

Just a question about the like and dislike buttons, how come we don't have the option to like or dislike a moderators posts?

I wanted to like one before and then kind of went awww..

Can you specify which post you're having issues with? Is the Like/Dislike option appearing for you for other users posts in the same thread?

Some sections of the forum (like the Tar Pit) don't have the option to Like or Dislike any of the posts in any threads in that section. This is generally because that section is just where most off topic non automotive threads are posted.

Liking a post would be OK however I would suggest disliking a mod post would be a bad idea.

Yeah, I have seen quite a few posts done by moderators with "likes" against them but I
have often also seen quite a number of posts where you don't get the option to "like" or "dislike"
I am not sure exactly why that is.
